While rising to the pinnacle of gastronomy, Olivier Brulard had two significant encounters. Michel Guerard, one of the most prominent personality in French gastronomy, who for five years entrusted him with his 3-star kitchen in Eugenie les Bains, in the Southwest. Then, when Nicole and Jean-Claude Delion, a couple from Auvergne, bought in 1997 the famous resort La Réserve de Beaulieu, they had the grand and beautiful vision to restore it to its former glory. As the reputation of the venerable place expanded, the need for an outstanding chef became essential. They immediately thought of Olivier Brulard who took over in 2004 "the kings' table."

Since then, the audacious chef has consistently flaunted the produce of the local terroir through subtle variations between sea and land. And those who have been lucky to dine at his table, even for just one fabulous meal, understood the meaning of Majesty. Now, he has left for new experience...
